It is very gratifying to know that after a long wait, The Elysium has eventually reached its completion. At the end of February, the remaining 5 units at Block 21 were finished, all the houses built and the project has finally reached its conclusion.
Had it been in Japan, the project could have been finished sooner than it took, requiring only a third part of the time the project consumed to be completed. This might be caused by the differences from my country in culture, custom, ideas and sometimes the difference in business ethics, that I believe only created discrepancies between the outcome and the original plan.
Many things that a Japanese, like me, would normally think should not happen, astonishingly happened as if they were standard and customary here. I had almost given up. Now, The Elysium is completed and is the biggest luxury Townhouse with 50 Japanese families and 30 other Foreign households living with the Filipinos, and is widely known as an International Community.
I was often asked what I would do next after the project is finished. In the business world, I can say that I have met and dealt with different people. I have done business with admirable Filipino people but I have also encountered the most undesirable Filipino character, likewise. I live and did business in the Philippines because I have always liked the Filipino people, but I’m afraid that if I continue to do so, I would only deviate from my good opinion of the Filipinos and the Philippines.
This time, I want to detach myself from the same business and once again pick up my likeness for the true Filipino that I once knew.
The Elysium is an international village with 205 units. Henceforth, support of the foreign residents of The Elysium, maintenance of the units and the Water facilities will be the operational objective of CSDI. Consultancy and assistance to expats who want to come and live in the Philippines, and to everything they might need to know or do.
Basing from the long experience cultivated while living in the Philippines, I am very confident that we can give the appropriate assistance and counsel.
To those who are interested to settle in the Philippines in the future, who are planning to apply for a Visa, who are interested to buy or lease a house, who wants to avail of Medical & Legal Services, etc. please don’t hesitate to contact us. We will be with you every step of the way.
